Last weekend was a busy one for South Bay residents! We attended an orchestra concert downtown, enjoyed a performance of Annie the Broadway Musical and listened to beautiful piano music courtesy of the Charleston Music Club.
Prospects attending the Fall in Love with South Bay: Taste of the South event enjoyed culinary delight under the direction of Chef Pamela Ballard.
We so enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of classical music by Sam Partyka, Classical Pianist and grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Partyka, residents of South Bay.
More fun news from South Bay and Shem Creek Health Center! Our community just hosted our first annual Fall Festival for the entire campus. We had a VERY successful Alzheimers walk on Saturday at Riverfront Park in Charleston, SC. We had over 700 people in attendance and collectively raised over $210,000! Shem Creek Health Center raised over $1,700 through bake sales, chili cookoff, tee shirt sales, individual donations, and more. South Bay recently held a “Taste of the South” event. Guests enjoyed a sampling of Southern cuisine provided by our culinary team, toured our campus amenities and visited our model apartment homes.
South Bay recently celebrated its 4 year anniversary! To help celebrate, our expert culinary team created delectable dishes and treats for Residents and staff to enjoy during our Anniversary Party.
South Bay Residents are loving being on the water here in Charleston. We have taken two sunset cruises recently and the weather could have not been more perfect!
Our Shem Creek residents had a blast with visitors from the South Carolina Aquarium! Of course they were all so friendly!
South Bay residents participated in Bingo for a Cause and raised $500 for a local charity! Amazing what some fun can accomplish.
