What an incredible 2023 Walk to End Alzheimer’s! South Bay at Mount Pleasant, Shem Creek Health Center and Kempton of Charleston sponsored this event. Our South Bay and Shem Creek teams met amazing families affected by this disease and showcased our GEMMS by Liberty program through stunning gemstones – a true conversation starter. Anntawn Green, Activities Director at Shem Creek, and her incredible team raised an astounding $15,694, exceeding expectations and proving the power of unity and dedication! Shem Creek’s team showed unwavering support, raising the second highest amount in the area – a truly amazing effort! Kudos to all involved for surpassing our initial goal of $6,000, contributing to a whopping $318,000 raised on the area level! Mayor Tecklenburg’s support and gratitude added an extra touch of encouragement. Thank you to all for being part of this incredible journey!
