Celebrating a Year of Smooth Sailing

We just celebrated the one-year anniversary of the launch of the South Bay Model Yacht Club.

Each week the pond becomes our little harbor of happiness as residents gather to see the fleet set sail. With four boats in rotation, three proudly captained by their owners, and one club vessel for new prospective sailors, there is always someone ready to catch the wind and make a splash. Powered by remote control and a steady breeze these model sailboats bring big adventure in small scale. Residents and neighbors strolling by often pause to enjoy the scene where friendly competition and laughter drift across the water.

For the anniversary celebration we raised our spirits with Salty Dogs as our adult beverage and toasted another successful voyage. The only thing running aground was our laughter.
