Studies show that seniors who stay socially active and engaged experience a variety of benefits. Social activities keep us sharp and mentally focused. Connecting with others helps us maintain good emotional health by boosting our mood. Our physical health is improved as we exercise with others and we even tend to make better food choices when we eat with others. Our immune system is boosted, we enjoy restful sleep and increased longevity.
Here at South Bay Mt Pleasant, we offer a large variety of lifestyle programming that matches the interests of our residents living here. We enjoy lifelong learning through visiting speakers and viewing and discussing documentaries through Great Courses. We concentrate on all aspects of Wellness through our Art, Music, and Recreational programming. Many clubs are offered and constantly growing to meet the needs and interests of our residents.
