South Bay Residents Answered The Call
April 8, 2020
South Bay Residents heard there was a need for more gowns for nurses providing care and went to work. They brought their sewing machines down to the Art Room and set up stations. They began by cutting shower curtains to pattern from a lesson on YouTube and then completed the stitching on the machines. The beauty of the shower curtains is they are easy to wipe off and clean. Residents were very grateful to have this purposeful project and said it is helping them cope with this Pandemic as well.
