South Bay Gets Muscles with Body Pump!

Body Pump is an exercise class that focuses on the muscular strength of the residents. Residents at South Bay go down the line of weight machines. These include a rowing machine, chest press, leg press, leg extension, and triceps extension.
Wellness Director Katie Carney adjusts the volume of weight, time, or reps to each person’s needs. Strength is commonly lost as we age so it is a vital part of the exercise routine to maintain strength and muscle mass.
