It’s a balancing act!

Balance class is a vital aspect of our I.N.S.P.I.R.E Wellness program here at South Bay. The class focuses on stability, coordination and agility skills.
As we get older, neuromuscular motor control and coordination. As a result, we are weakened resulting in increased fall risk and decreased independence. We practice several exercises such as stepping over blocks, standing on foam pads, and catching balls! Residents can see progressions in their balance as they continue to come to class and achieve new goals.
Improving balance can get frustrating on your own. Join in the Balance exercise class at South Bay, there are plenty of ways to make improving so much fun!
